Celebrating the Aged (Monday 16 September)

The 3rd Monday in September every year is known as Respect for the Aged Day. To celebrate and give thanks to the elderly, national parks and zoos across Japan will give free entry to seniors. Most establishments will consider customers over 60 or 65 years old to be seniors. (https://matcha-jp.com/en/3662)

KIS is closed on this day

Class parents

Class parents are integral to our school and your time and effort are greatly appreciated by the children, teachers, and other parents. Your involvement helps make our school community stronger. Each class at KIS has 1 class parent. The class parent(s) serves as a liaison between the classroom teachers and the parents.

Classroom teachers will be sending out requests for Class parent volunteers next week.
